Broken screen, colors running free
Eyes stuck in the light that lights up my room for me
Broken shell, it looks like myself
But, why? You know that I didn't really care
Show me those wonderful islands
Gorgeous skies full of colors that are fun
Make me hear what I love to hear
Unless I unplug your voice that's filled with fear
Tell me what you think about your new scratch
I know it hurts, but you used to be hard
I know it makes you really mad
But, why? I'd rather take that than a hard slap
Again, I'm trying to fix you and it works
But it's a mess, I know you
Will the stars come down and show us
What is shining with a single smile?
[Pre1]
Another day
Running just for me, running just for me
Another day
Opening the doors again
[Chorus]
Rectangular fantasy
From my bed to the outer space
Beautiful sounds, beautiful songs
From stereo to mono, ahh
Make me laugh and make me cry
Give me all your stuff to wonder
And, rectangular with broken shell
That is a world to escape
Once again, I'm stuck in my brain
To find a reason of why I need you so much
True or false, I am the bad guy
But, why those are things that I don't know at all?
Show me dirty stuff just to see
What's beyond the window that leads me free
Will the sun sleep forever
And let the night make everything better?
[Pre2]
I know it hurts
Your skin rips apart, is ripping apart
I know I should
Have been careful, I'll lose you..

Circus is a music machine who's put out tons of amazing tracks since 715, but this is still my favourite of his albums by far. I still don't know how he got Len's English to sound so emotional and powerful on Poltergeist, but on that and every track Circus showcases why he is the king of English vocalsynth tuning wondersmith_39

the first time i heard this song it was the English version (wish it was here, too, rip); the song makes me feel very sad and melancholic, but also... a little hopeful, and i love the nuance. ·-·· ·· ·· ··-·/··· - ·- ·-· ··· - --- ·-· --/-·- ··· -·-·
